Padmaloka has commisioned a number of paintings over the years by an artist named Aloka who currently lives and works in Norwich. Previously Aloka lived at Padmaloka taking part in retreats as part of the ordination team and still has good frinedships with some of the residents of Padmaloka. Over the years Aloka has painted a large number of Buddhist pictures as commisions for centres and individual practitioners. He also works on developing his own work.
