Jinapalita 
I have the very fortunate job of looking after the garden at Padmaloka. Previous to this, for 2 years I led a happily nomadic life, and prior to that I lived and worked in Brighton for over 20 years. Working mainly for the Brighton Buddhist Centre, but also 4 years as a landscape gardener. I've lived in Buddhist communities for most of that time. Which was sometimes a complete delight and at other times very challenging to my sense of who I am. Prior to my time in the FWBO I have had a selection of jobs, from tree surgeon to residential social work, I've also spent time doing building, hotel and restaurant work, Ive even driven a London Double Decker bus on a skid pan! I've lived mainly in the UK. but in my early twenties I spent some time in South East Asia and Australia. I was predominantly practicing Aikido, but also did some traveling around. |
