Estonia

Ukraine, Saint Petersburg, Finland… From Helsinki it is a short boat trip across to Tallinn. Order members from Helsinki first visited Estonia at the invitation of Estonian Buddhists some time before the end of the Soviet era. There has been an FWBO group in Tallinn since then, and one Estonia Order member, Amaradakini.  Saddhaloka visits Tallinn regularly from Helsinki.  Since 2005 Vaddhaka, an English order member,  lives in Tallin and is there directly through his connection with Saddhaloka and Padmaloka, where he lived and worked for several years.

Buddhafield East

A Buddhafield (in Sanskrit ‘Buddha-ksetra, also traslates as Buddha Land or Buddha Country) is a realm created by the skillful action of a Buddha, where the conditions are perfect for the spiritual development of it’s inhabitants. It is the positive sphere of influence of an enlightened being.

Buddhafield East is a community of like minded beings who come together to put on Buddhist retreat camps and similar events, in the beautiful East Anglian countryside.

Several members of the Padmaloka comunity have over the years been a part of helping to work with and build Buddhafield East.
