Summer Retreat - Dhardo Rinpoche, 20th Century Bodhisattva

Sangharakshita has described his teacher Dhardo Rinpoche as a living Bodhisattva. He also talks of the Bodhisattva Ideal as one of the most sublime spiritual ideals that mankind has ever seen, an attitude where the terms self and others become irrelevant.

On this retreat we will be exploring, through talks by Padmavajra, both the teaching of the Bodhisattva and the life of Dhardo Rinpoche. The retreat is followed by a public festival day at Padmaloka celebrating Dhardo’s life and work.
