‘According to the Abhidharma, faith (shraddha) is present in all skilful mental states. Faith consists in being aware of, and responsive to, that which is higher. All skilful mental states are, therefore, essentially progressive.’
~ Nidhikanda Sutta
Buddhism teaches the central importance of the mind and mental actions. Therefore it is vital to our practice that we pay close and precise attention to the ethical status of our mental events. On this retreat we are going to explore this with the help of material from “Know Your Mind” and Subhuit’s “Mind in Harmony”, through talks and discussion groups.
The retreat starts with dinner on the first day at 6:30pm and finishes on the final day at 10.00am.
