'One can aspire to be one of the thousand arms of Avalokiteshvara'
Going for Refuge to the Buddha, Dharma and Sangha needs a specific spiritual community for it to be fully expressed. It needs, in other words, an Order. Sangharakshita started an Order that transcends the distinction between monk and layman and which places the spiritual and existential act of Going for Refuge at its very heart. To enter the Order, you need to have a clear understanding and effective practice of the principles and practices the Order is founded on. In this retreat we look particularly at the various collective practices of the Order.
This retreat directly proceeds our Brahmaviharas Meditation Retreat. You can book on both at a discounted rate here: http://www.padmaloka.org.uk/retreats/2017/long-summer-camp
