Great Gathering 1 - Going for Refuge: The Deepest Revolution

Friday, 23 February 2018 to Sunday, 25 February 2018

Going for Refuge, or commitment to the Three Jewels, is one's life-blood as a Buddhist. Observance of the Precepts represents the circulation of that blood through every fibre of one's being.

A key feature of Sangharakshita's presentation of the Dharma is the importance of the act of Going for Refuge - externally it unifies the whole Buddhist world and personally it can connect our highest aspirations with the earth of our daily lives. A weekend exploring how we can bring about a deeper revolution within ourselves and the world around us.

The weekend starts at 6:30pm with dinner on the Friday and finishes after lunch on the Sunday at about 2:30pm.
