sub25s Weekend - The Lion’s Roar

Friday, 11 December 2020 to Sunday, 13 December 2020

Do you really believe that no one is better than anyone else? Do you really believe that everyone has ‘their own truth’ that is neither better nor worse than anyone else’s?

The Buddha’s teaching gives expression to the way things really are. It shows us how to live in accordance with universal laws and begin to wake up to the same truth he discovered. Therefore, the Buddha is said to be like a Lion, whose roar declares his sovereignty over the world and causes all that lives to fall silent.

The weekend starts at 6:30pm with dinner on the Friday and finishes after lunch on the Sunday at about 2:30pm.

This retreat is run on a 'dana' (generosity) basis; at the end of the retreat you can give as much as you are able.

If you still feel that you are unable to afford the £70 deposit, we have a bursary fund that can help pay for some of the retreat. If you would like to apply for help from the bursary, email info@padmaloka.org.uk.
