On this retreat we will be teaching the essential principles of meditation to help you work effectively in your practice, refresh your motivation, and inspire your effort.
It is suitable for both men who are relatively new to Triratna who have a regular meditation practice and who want to establish it on a solid foundation, as well as to experienced meditators who wish to breathe new life into their practice.
All areas of working in meditation will be covered from posture, balanced effort and overcoming the hindrances to access concentration, the dhyanas and insight. The emphasis will be practical, experiential and on learning meditation skills that one can then take away and apply in daily meditation practice.
Details and Timings
The retreat starts with dinner on the first day at 6:30pm and finishes on the final day at 10.00am.
Health and Hygiene
Please take two Lateral Flow Tests, one 48 hours before arrival and a second within 24 hours of the retreat starting, please also bring a few Lateral Flow Tests with you as everyone will be required to do a test halfway through the retreat.
