Padmasambhava was the great Tantric master of his age. A substantial part of his training was spent in the eight great cremation grounds, the places where the dead are brought. There amidst the funerary pyres, the lakes of decay, the jackals and other beasts, Padmasambhava encounters the celestial maidens – the dakinis – and receives esoteric initiations to bring about complete transformation.
This will be a weekend evoking the mystery, wonder, and challenge of the Dharma life – where will you find the cremation ground? And will you survive it?
